Facebook Video Calling has been launched today which is the result of cooperation with Skype Facebook.
It does not take long for Facebook to respond Google+ presence, now Facebook already presenting with Video Calling feature that offers services with similar features like Hangouts in Google +.
Video Calling runs at browser-based and can be used now without the need to create a Skype account, a user only need to install the applet and choose the friend to 'video chat'.
Facebook Video Chat can be used at no cost if the chat is done person-to-person. (Group video chat will be charged by Skype)
To start using Video Calling feature visit http://www.facebook.com/videocalling and click the Get Started button.
You will be asked to choose a friend who you want to meet and if the person available you can video chat with your friend instanly. Easy right?
You can leave a voicemail message when your friend does not respond to an invitation, so it can function in Live or asynchronous.
In addition to announcing Video Calling, Facebook also announced a new feature called "ad hoc group chat", a new chat design chat and confirming that the number of active Facebook users has reached 750 million people.
The "Ad hoc group chat" lets Facebook users create group chats without first creating a group chat.
